Hotfix Rhinestones and leather do not mix. In most cases heat pressing hotfix rhinestones to leather will damage, scorch or melt the leather and no one wants to ruin a great pair of boots. To avoid damaging your boots you have 2 options for adding rhinestones to cowboy boots:

Hotfix rhinestones and leather do not mix. In most cases heat pressing hotfix rhinestones to leather will damage, scorch, or melt your belt. To avoid possible damage to your leather TRW suggests hand placing SS10 Flatback Diamond Cut Rhinestones directly to the leather using Ninja Super Flex Glue or Ninja Super Grip Glue or attaching rhinestones to a thin piece of fabric or Heat Transfer Vinyl and sewing or gluing it to the belt. When using glues avoid exposing the finished product to temperatures below freezing or the glue bonds may begin to weaken. To add rhinestones to a fabric belt simply follow the same process you would with any other fabric and press your Rhinestone SVG Design using hotfix rhinestones and a crafting heat press. For the ultimate in COWGIRL bling heat press Siser Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl to your leather belt first and layer Hotfix Rhinestones on top of that, this can only be done with genuine high quality leather and will not work with faux leather or leather with textured finishes.
